This week’s theme is “Cheer.” During the holiday season, the word “cheer” is used to express this time of year. But the word “cheer” can be and should be used for so many more things than just the holiday season.
Whether you use the word “cheer” to say what sports team you root for or add an “s” to the end to celebrate a toast, cheer is shown in so many ways. And with the crazy year that we have had, there has been so much to cheer for. We started the year not knowing what education would be like in 2021, from fully remote to fully in-person and in many different ways along the educational path. You each took on the challenge and created a special and unique learning environment for our community to be proud of. So I raise my proverbial glass to each and every one of you to say “Cheers!” Have a great week and finish the semester strong.
