This week’s theme is “March On ”. As we approach the 1 year anniversary of our educational world being thrown into utter chaos, we have continued to March On as leaders. One of those leaders is Jillian Glassman, this month’s “A+ Educator”. Jillian does it all, while striving to be the teacher each of her students need. Who can forget Jillian’s awesome intro to the graduation video created for our Seniors last spring.
She is constantly looking for new ways to keep her students attentive and motivated in her classes while Marching on. She not only comes up with new and creative ideas for her students, but she is willing to share these ideas with colleagues so they are able to find similar success with their students. While working through all the challenges being faced in education and the world, Jillian has chosen to continue her journey by becoming a Nationally Board Certified Educator. Even though this is a challenging endeavor, she continues to remain highly motivated, finding time to reflect on her teaching, and adapt to ensure that everyone of her students are getting what they need. Aside from teaching at ACHS, Jillian is a dance instructor. This is a passion outside of the classroom that she continues to do. She enjoys doing this and is able to bring the same passion and energy to this aspect of her life. Jillian is more than just a teacher, she is an educator and role model for many. Have a great week and continue to March On, just as Jillian is doing. Theme: March On Quote March is a month of expectation - Emily Dickinson Goal This week, find ways to March On.
